It was really fun to get this family in front of my lens!  Melanie and I have been friends for a long time and her youngest boy is in my Webelos Den.  Her oldest just graduated in June and so it was special to be able to capture their family together before she left the nest and headed off to college.  The light was so pretty on this afternoon!  I love shooting at Huntington Beach Central Park -- it's perfect for mini-sessions!

Clark - Class of 2017 // Orange County High School Senior Photographer

Photographing high school seniors is one of my favorite type of sessions... It's such a fun time of life for them, with so many possibilities right around the corner.  Clark was a breeze to work with!  We met up at Pacific City in Huntington Beach (such a versatile location!) a few months ago and captured a great set of photos.  He's such a handsome young man!  I especially love the cute pics I got of him with his mom at the end.  xoxo

The Best Part of Me: A school project // Orange County Photographer

A good friend of mine is a 5th grade teacher and asked for my help with a special project she wanted to do with her kids.  It is based off the book, The Best Part of Me, where children write about what they like about themselves.   Photographing these kids was really fun!  I especially liked hearing about what they liked about themselves and why.  I think it's so important for kids to get the chance to  identify good things about themselves -- they all deserve to feel unique and special -- and this kind of thing builds confidence and self worth!

 The Glazier family recently relocated to Texas and we were sad to see them go!  We headed down to the HB Pier to get some beachy family photos before they headed out of town... I never get tired of photos under the pier!
